"Bar Stat was a no-brainer for me. I had devised a workable and useful spreadsheet for capturing the percentage of fees and other rechargeables to members but it did not integrate with Sage. This meant much double handling of work. Bar Stat is totally conversant with Sage and once fee income has been entered and purchase invoices correctly allocated the rest is at the press of a button. Invoices and reports are produced, Sage is updated, VAT reports are agreed and there is valuable time left to concentrate on other aspects. Centrepoint by the way are totally user friendly.…"
"When I took over from my predecessor as Chambers Administrator I feel sure there was a groan amongst salesman, financial advisors, IT consultants and the like. I am not patient or tolerant and I soon give those claiming to be bearing gifts short shift! However, I attended a demonstration of Bar-Stat and it appeared to offer a reasonably cheap yet quick and understandable way of charging back the 1001 items that Chambers pays out for its Members ranging from rent, chambers expenses, loans and petty cash. I purchased the software and am very pleased. It works very well and has been easily adapted to conform to the peculiarity of our Chambers. No set of Chambers is the same and every set has a different way of organising its accounts. Bar Stat appears to be totally adaptable and I have no hesitation in recommending the software to all Chambers Clerks and Administrators."
